The Thing With Fugue

It is Sunday morning. I have been up since 5 watching childrens television and would now like to type words. Here. Here. We watched a show called "prank patrol".

I thought I might type some thoughts about Fugue State Press and some of the titles. James just put the forthcoming books up. I feel excited.

The Fugue State wikipedia page has been shrinking. Someone wrote some shit on there recently I think. I vaguely remember speaking with someone (maybe Shane????) who said "haha the fsp page was made by someone who hates it". I wonder who. Probably some stupid bitch.

James Chapman is the Fugue State skull bow figurehead. He also makes up a considerable portion of the body, with 8 books listed. The rest of the body is slowly being built up beneath him. It is a body of people who fall apart. Stet by Chapman is massive and too much for me to swallow. In content. The chest is wide and full. It is a war of static motion.

At roughly the same time as me, Chapman picked up The Failure Six by Shane Jones. Due to awkward syntax, it appears that I have picked up a Shane Jones book. I have put it down now. Shane is one of the most exciting writers I know. Light Boxes is beautiful etc etc Spike Jonze etc etc Shane Jones Hoes etc etc Saw Shane on MTV cribs the other night etc etc in his fridge he had a thousand jars of pickled sun.

A few years ago, FSP published Irivers' alternative bible "Black Magic Woman # Zero Point Negro". When I hold that book I feel glad that it exists and I try to force it inside of me. Mysterious Malaysian Men.

Noah Cicero's The Human War is also on FSP. It is on snowbooks in england. It is being made into a film right now. The Insurgent by Noah will come out soon. It will make everyone take everything apart.

"The Rat Veda" This is Chapman's book. This is Chapman's clay bed. ML Press released an excerpt of this as a chapbook with a title that should have been published as a chapbook alone. James Chapman: Everything good this year award.
